Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. I originally did this sketch back in 1993 of the Twin Towers while across the Hudson, in Hoboken. I am so fortunate to have had the opportunity to draw this skyline as it will forever be remembered.
